Johnson & Johnson Commits $55 Billion+ to U.S. Expansion
J&J unveiled a sweeping plan to invest over $55 billion across the U.S. over the next four years, beginning with a $2 billion+ biologics manufacturing facility in Wilson, NC. The 500,000-sq-ft site will create over 500 jobs and support 5,000 during construction. Additional funds will support R&D and technology upgrades.
TSMC Grows U.S. Investment to $165 Billion
TSMC announced an additional $100 billion investment in its U.S. chip operations, bringing the total to $165 billion. The project includes three fabrication plants, two packaging facilities, and a major R&D center. Expected to support 40,000 construction jobs, the expansion will boost domestic capacity for AI and semiconductor manufacturing.
Clarios Launches $6 Billion American Energy Strategy

TS Conductor is building a $134 million, 301,275-sq-ft manufacturing plant in Jasper County, SC, to produce advanced carbon-core conductors. The project will create 462 jobs and help meet rising demand for grid and HVDC transmission infrastructure.
Mitsubishi Electric to Build $86 Million Facility in Pennsylvania
MEPPI broke ground on an $86 million switchgear plant in New Galilee, PA. The project will create at least 200 jobs and shift production to vacuum breakers as part of the grid’s modernization.
JST Power Equipment Opens New Transformer Plant in Virginia
JST opened a new 45,000-sq-ft transformer factory in Wytheville, VA, hiring 35–50 people initially. The site will serve U.S. clients with expanded production, service, and R&D capabilities.
Wieland Launches $500 Million Modernization in Illinois
Wieland began a half-billion-dollar upgrade to its East Alton, IL copper facility, focused on EV components and renewable energy applications. The project will retain 800 jobs and includes a state-of-the-art hot rolling mill.
